Reutilization of Groundwater Resources in the Construction Project of Taichung Commercial Bank Headquarters.
2021.04.22
The basement excavation area of Taichung Commercial Bank Base is about 4,619m2, and the basement depth is 34.6m (B10F). Taichung City's stratum is dominated by pebbles, with high groundwater level and abundant groundwater. The whole area of the base is equipped with 10 100hp pumping wells, and the requirements for the depth of precipitation in each construction and excavation stage are different. If all 10 pumping wells are opened in any stage, it will be too wasteful of groundwater resources.
The plan conducts on-site pumping tests before construction, and analyzes the pumping volume of each excavation stage and the pumping wells that need to be opened in detail. An automated water level monitoring system is set up, and the water level measurement results of the system are regularly reviewed and analyzed by dedicated personnel, and feedback and adjustments are made. In order to meet the construction safety and economic pumping plan, to reduce electricity consumption and excessive extraction of groundwater resources, and cooperate with the water company to plan and install water purification equipment to reuse groundwater resources and support drought resistance.
