DACIN and EY Join Forces to Launch a Pilot Project for Scope 3 and Carbon Footprint Assessment in the Construction Sector, Moving Towards Net Zero.
2025.08.26
To strengthen corporate sustainability and carbon management capabilities, DACIN commissioned Ernst & Young (EY) to provide professional guidance. The company selected the “DACIN ESSENCE Project” as a pilot site to jointly launch a Scope 3 and carbon footprint assessment initiative. A kick-off meeting was held on August 26, 2025.
This collaboration focuses on assessing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and carbon footprints during the construction phase, aiming to establish a scientifically grounded carbon management framework. It also seeks to gradually align with IFRS sustainability disclosure standards and the global net-zero transition trend.
Through this pilot implementation, DACIN aims to develop a replicable and scalable carbon accounting process, laying a solid foundation for the future expansion of Scope 3 carbon assessments across its operations. This initiative demonstrates the company’s commitment and determination to actively contribute to carbon reduction efforts.
